I can now confirm that we have booked a number of places for the Cumbria Grand and the use of the ballroom for the above date. The cost is £179.00 for 3 night’s dinner, bed and breakfast and the use of the ballroom. This also includes travel to and from the hotel by coach and also two excursions to be determined. I need to ensure that I am able to confirm the booking confidently with the coach operators/hotel hopefully in plenty of time so early deposit payments would be appreciated. Part of the cost of the trips are for the ballroom hire and one of the problems is that if we don’t have enough on the trip to ensure we have full use of the ballroom, the ballroom may be used by the hotels entertainment team for all hotel guests. Another reason for making this arrangement is that I want to ensure for all those who have paid a deposit (early rather than later) and in good faith will be refunded if the trip does not go ahead.

I sincerely hope you appreciate the reasons for doing this. As with all trips we do have to get deposits in as early as possible to ensure we get the dates we want at these very popular hotels. If you are interested in going back to this lovely hotel with great food, good rooms and in a beautiful location please let us know as soon as possible by returning the booking form only, with your deposit and supplement costs where necessary.
